My STORY
The ELEVATOR VERSION
First I wrote plays. And directed them. Lines of people around the block. Without any promotion. I turned people away. Go figure.
Then film. Was accepted as a screenwriting fellow at AFI. Wrote and directed a short film that premiered at Sundance. Got an agent. Sold a story to DreamWorks. Wrote a dozen treatments. And 3 full drafts. For 2 long years. Wanted to cut my face. Didn't.
Was offered a job in Pharma. Worked my way up from junior copywriter to Group Creative Director. Was recruited to start an HCP division at Grey. Built one up from scratch. Oversaw both copy and art. Grew business. Mentored people. Won some awards. Went to Rosetta. Grew business. Mentored people. Won some awards.
I love what I do. I mean, yes, I sell drugs. But I sell them to doctors. So it's cool.
